Absorption or sound insulation

Absorption controls reverberation in the same room. Sound insulation limits transmission between rooms. An effective specification first identifies which problem must be addressed.

Continuity and weak points

Not necessarily. Reverberation control and transmission loss are different goals that require different evidence and assemblies.

Is mineral wool enough for soundproofing?
